We appreciate that it may feel disconcerting not being able to manage your documents, so we just wanted to provide you with the reasoning behind this and hopefully put your mind at ease.
Whenever we build and introduce a new feature to our users, we have to make sure that it won't add any more time to the processing of your application. If anything was to be changed by mistake, this could potentially cause issues with the lender, slow us down or cause us to apply for the wrong mortgage.
That's why it's always best to discuss any changes with your expert or case manager.
Another reason is that we're always working as fast as we can on improving our product based on the data and customer insight we collect.
The output of our work is released to the outside world on the principles of the Minimum Viable Product. It means that some of our features may be basic at the start while still helping us push the overall experience a step forward at the same time.
Wikipedia defines MVP as a product with just enough features to satisfy early customers, and to provide feedback for future product development.
